Just discovered that owners are given a free credit towards email forwarding but it’s done in a roundabout way so that it’s not immediately obvious to users.

I can only imagine that this is so that customers accidentally purchase more than they have to.

I agree Ricky. I think a simple, clear and easy delete account feature should be the starting point of any web development.

I decided to change feed readers today, tried Feeddemon and eventually gave in and signed up to Newsgator. Well, after a few minutes I decided I’d had enough and wanted to delete my newsgator account.

Well, NOTHING available to delete the account. I sent an email to “support” and got a “no-reply” email back.

Now, I’m running through each of their email addresses to see if I can ACTUALLY reach someone!

This is insane – is this not a basic privacy feature that is required in sites? Or am I wrong?

Ridiculous. Totally ridiculous.
